Acting at varying times as chief finance officer, company secretary, non-executive director and business associate, Jon was influential in leading the organisation through a difficult 18 month cultural restructure converting it from a loss making public sector to a profitable private sector organisation.

BAE Systems Plc
A finance bid manager on a multi-billion pound Typhoon military aircraft export campaign, Jon was a pivotal member of the campaign management team, responsible for all finance related activities within the £2bn bid.

NTL
Responsible for the financial reporting to this £200m group – £120 CAPEX and £80m OPEX. Assisting Accenture with finding £1 billion of out of scope synergy savings when merging with Telewest to form Virgin Media.

Town Centre Securities Plc
As group financial controller, principally responsible for the preparation of the Annual Report and accounts and all other finance team outputs.

thebigword Holdings Ltd
In the role of finance director in this £30m+ global language services company, sitting on the board and with overall responsibility of finance teams in Leeds, New York and Beijing. His work included restructuring of the global finance team to fully support a £40-50m global company.

Interim Finance Director for a UK top 50 general insurance broker and financial services team. Management of all financial activities and instrumental in all strategic commercial decision making. Attendance of all Board meetings and offers key guidance and support to the managing directors of each division to ensure they deliver successful results.

Aspire Community Benefits Society
Interim Finance Director for a charity that delivers the caring needs for 1,000 adults in Leeds who have learning difficulties. Aspire is a recent £20m spin out from Leeds City Council in August 2015. Pivotal role in supporting the Chief Executive and the Operations Director in ensuring the spin out is successful and advising them on how to run a private sector business. Close working with a diverse Board and ensuring all decisions are made with full accurate information.
